My name is Jon Spurr and I am a commercial photographer living in Rochester, NY. I provide photography services to individuals and businesses of all kinds, with a specialty in architectural and design.

I grew up just outside of Boston but moved to upstate New York to go to college at Syracuse University. It was there I met my future wife Rebecca.  Rebecca and I have lived in the Rochester area since after college.

My dad was always into photography growing up, so naturally, I was too.  I bought my first DSLR the summer after graduating college and started working on my photography then. When I moved to Rochester I started shooting more, and now, I basically bring my camera everywhere I go.  My favorite time to shoot is in the early mornings when the world hasn’t woken up yet.

When I’m not out shooting photos, there is a good chance I am out on the golf course.  I routinely compete in Rochester and New York State golf tournaments.
